Splash Seattle, Washington
August 1984, Martin H. Samuel took his drums on a 28-day sail from Honolulu to Seattle.
He was met at the
Shilshole Bay Marina by Bruce Trotter – the roadie & soundman for Splash, a 5-piece cover band whose drummer had quit.
Bruce drove Martin to the venue where he met the band for the 1st time and played that night with no rehearsal.
The following day, they went on a Tour of The Great North Wet.
